Volunteers are needed to cook, run deliveries and serve meals. WE WILL NEED A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS ON WEDNESDAY, THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING beginning at 9:00 a.m. and into the evening hours as well and also Thanksgiving Day beginning at 6:00 am.
We also need donations of: turkeys, potatoes, green beans, corn, cranberries, bread for filling, celery, onions, milk, eggs, and pumpkin pies. Monetary donations will also be accepted to help with the dinner. Please make checks out to: Good Shepherd's Guild. If you can donate any of these items or help with preparations, please, contact Bonnie Baker at (570) 429-2272 by November 15th so we can plan accordingly. |

For the 2013 Diocesan Convention, the ECW will be collecting shampoo & conditioner, deodorant, razors, body wash, soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, socks, cotton underwear, cough drops, and OTC pain medications. We are happy to receive your hotel or sample-sized grooming items.
North Parish will be assisting with this project. Please bring your donations to church no later than September 22nd. Our delegate to Convention, Donald Clamser, Sr. will take them with him when he attends the Convention.

If you can help set up and peel peaches, please arrive at the church the day of the festival by 8:00 a.m. Baked goods can be dropped off at that time as well as during office hours. If you can help that evening, please arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Pancake and Sausage SupperSunday, February 10th, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

Donald Clamser, Sr., and his family have offered to have a pancake supper for the members of North Parish at Christ Church, Frackville on Sunday, Feb. 10th at 5:00 p.m. They will donate the pancakes, sausage, butter, syrup, ketchup, ice tea and coffee. Donations of desserts are needed. Also, volunteers will be needed to help with the serving. If you plan on attending or you can help please call Donald at 570-205-5014. |
