Over 300 Dinners (between eat-in, take-out and deliveries to shut-ins) were served!

Volunteers are needed to cook, run deliveries and serve meals. WE WILL NEED A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS ON WEDNESDAY, THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING beginning at 9:00 a.m. and into the evening hours as well and also Thanksgiving Day.
We also need donations of: turkeys, potatoes, green beans, corn, cranberries, bread for filling, celery, onions, milk, eggs, and pumpkin pies. Monetary donations will also be accepted to help with the dinner. Please make checks out to: North Parish. If you can donate any of these items or help with preparations, please, contact Bonnie Baker at (570) 429-2272 by November 17th so we can plan accordingly.

NORTH PARISH'S ANNUAL MEETINGOctober 16, 2016 |

The annual meeting for North Parish will be held at Holy Apostles', St. Clair on Sunday, October 16th. The combined worship service will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by the meeting of all parishioners and a luncheon. All members of North Parish are asked to be in attendance. |

ST. JOHN'S PARKING LOT DEDICATIONSunday, August 28, 2016

There will be a dedication during the service on Sunday, August 28th at St. John's Episcopal Church in memory of Edith Lane Hoffman, Robert E. Jones Sr., and Betty Palmer Price for memorials provided for the paving of the church parking lot.
Funds were also given for this project by the Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church for the Advancement of Christianity of PA and the Lehn Society.
A plaque was purchased in their memory and honor. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make this project a success. The new parking lot provides safer and easier access to services for our parishioners.

If you can help set up and peel peaches, please arrive at the church the day of the festival by 9:00 a.m. Baked goods can be dropped off at that time. If you can help that evening, please arrive by 4:30 p.m. This is a North Parish event and we need our members from St. John's and Holy Apostles to help make this fundraiser a success.

Schuylkill County FairAugust 1 - 6, 2016 Schuylkill County Episcopal Churches Giving Out Hugs & Kisses |

North Parish along with St. James Episcopal Church, Schuylkill Haven, and Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville will have a stand at the fair. Our stand will be giving out hugs (fruit drinks) and kisses (Hershey kisses) and literature regarding each of our churches. We are doing this in order to have an Episcopal presence in Schuylkill County and to promote church growth.
Volunteers are needed to work the stand - Monday thru Saturday between the times of 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. We ask volunteers to sign up for 1 ½ hour increments or longer. Sign-up sheets will be available at the church or call the church office at 570-429-7107 to sign up. The gate admission of $5.00 will be waived for volunteers. Thank you for your help!
